Colleagues meet in the new room

New Business Space at Exeter Science Park

A new University meeting space and hot-desking area has opened at Exeter Science Park.

The 12 person meeting space is of a high business standard and is available for use by all University staff via central room bookings.

The first meeting held at the Science Park space was between Sean Fielding, Director of Innovation, Impact & Business and Deborah Waddell, CBI South West Director to discuss business collaboration and new initiatives.

Sean Fielding, Director of Innovation, Impact and Business at the University of Exeter, said: “This new space makes it even easier for University staff to collaborate with the exciting new businesses growing at the Exeter Science Park.  And it’s also a convenient and professional location to meet external visitors.”

The new meeting room facility is in the Science Park centre, situated just off Junction 29 of the M5 and close to Exeter Airport.  It is the perfect place to meet with visitors, especially from business or other external organisations.

It has plenty of car-parking a regular bus service and access to the Exeter Science Park café.  The room is a large, bright and modern with flat-screen TV, conference phone and Skype for Business.
