Exeter climbs higher
Exeter has risen to 13th place in the UK in the Times league table of universities.
The rise of four places continues the University’s rise up the UK rankings: it is also rated among the top 20 universities in league tables published by the Guardian, Sunday Times and Independent.
Exeter’s strengths include high levels of student satisfaction, a low drop-out rate and a high proportion of students achieving First Class and Upper Second Class degrees. In the Times’ subject rankings 16 subjects at Exeter are in the top 10 and a further seven in the top 20. The Times league table ranks 113 UK higher education institutions.
The University is looking to the future with a major investment programme, which includes a £40m remodelling of the heart of the campus, £25m for new Business School facilities and £18m for Biosciences.
