University joins carsharedevon scheme
Devon County Council (DCC) will be celebrating the 4th birthday of its carsharedevon.com website.
As a pre-launch event to its forthcoming Sustainable Travel Plan, the University has invited DCC to celebrate the birthday on its Streatham Campus.
As a pre-launch event to its forthcoming Sustainable Travel Plan, the University has invited DCC to celebrate the birthday on its Streatham Campus. Funded by the proceeds of car parking charges, the University has joined 'carsharedevon' allowing staff and students to easily, simply and at no cost, arrange lifts to and from its Exeter campuses and elsewhere.
This will be the first of many initiatives by the University to attain more sustainable travel. Improvements to its cycle facilities and its free University bus service are also planned.
The Sustainable Travel Plan for the Exeter campuses will be available
shortly.
