Night walkers step out
A team of 70 women from the University will be stepping out in Exeter’s first Night Walk.
‘X on Legs’ are aiming to raise more than £2,000 for the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) and MacMillan Cancer Support.
They will be tackling the 12 mile challenge overnight on 18 April sporting University hoodies. The walk has a staggered start, with women starting at 8.00pm, 9.00pm, 10.00pm and 11.00pm, and there will be X on Legs walkers at every point throughout the evening.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Steve Smith, said, "I am overwhelmed by the number of University of Exeter staff who are participating in the Night Walk. I'm delighted that the X on Legs team have raised over £2,000 to date and immensely grateful to all those who have donated for two extremely worthy causes".
