Exeter graduate makes his bid to be ‘The Apprentice’
A University of Exeter graduate will be making his bid to impress Sir Alan Sugar in the latest series of the BBC’s hit show, The Apprentice.
Raleigh Addington, 22, graduated in Economics and Politics from the University and is one of 16 hopefuls bidding for the show’s prize — a top job working for Sir Alan and a six figure salary.
Born in Swindon, Raleigh is the son of a farmer and a nurse. He spent a gap year living in Shanghai before coming to Exeter to study.
He speaks highly of his time at the Exeter and took part in fundraising — helping land one of the largest donations ever secured by the University.
In his audition film, he says: “I’m energetic. I really want to achieve. I think I’m a great salesman and I think I can really make a difference to one of Sir Alan Sugar’s organisations.
“My greatest strengths are my ambition, my energy, my enthusiasm for every task I come across and, actually, my business nous.”
Viewers can follow Raleigh’s progress when the series starts on Wednesday 6 October, airing at 9pm on BBC One.
