The Forum will be the heart of the Streatham Campus
Exeter hits top ten in Sunday Times University Guide
The University of Exeter’s status as a top 10 university has been confirmed by its new ranking in The Sunday Times University Guide 2012.
The University of Exeter now ranks 9th in this league table and has also been named runner-up in The Sunday Times University of the Year award.
Exeter has been shortlisted for the University of the Year award four times (2002, 2006, 2010 and again this year) more than any other university. The University is now nearing the completion of a £270 million investment in infrastructure and facilities to ensure it provides an outstanding experience to students. The centre piece is the Forum project in the heart of the Streatham Campus.
The Sunday Times University Guide 2012 provides students and their parents with an invaluable first reference point on the path to finding a university place. It contains full profiles of all universities and the leading colleges of higher education. The league table is drawn up from criteria including student satisfaction, teaching and research quality, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, graduate unemployment levels and university dropout rates.
Exeter has risen to 9th place from 17th place in The Sunday Times University Guide in just one year.
