University of Exeter's global reputation boosted by World University Rankings
The University of Exeter has climbed to 153rd place in the 2012-13 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
This latest news boosts the University’s global reputation, following the recent announcement that Exeter is in the top 200 of the QS World University Rankings.
Being in the top 200 of the two main international league tables puts the University of Exeter firmly into the top one per cent of higher education institutions globally.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is based on 13 separate performance indicators covering all of the core missions of a world class university — teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
The University of Exeter now has students from over 130 different countries and staff of 50 different nationalities. With representation in India and two offices in China, the University engages with a growing number of overseas research partners to tackle issues of global importance.
