Jacqui Marshall joins the University as HR Director on 1 July

University announces new HR Director

The University today announced the appointment of Jacqueline (Jacqui) Marshall as Human Resources Director. Jacqui will take up the post on 1 July.

Jacqui joins Exeter from the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Her most recent position was leading a department wide behavioural change programme in support of approximately 250,000 civilian and military personnel. She was previously seconded to DEFRA where she held the board level appointment of HR Director for the Rural Payments Agency. During her career with the MoD, Jacqui led a full range of HR services and enabled talent management, training and development, and leadership development.

Commenting on her new role Jacqui said: “I have enjoyed an extremely rewarding career with the MoD and I felt I was ready for a new challenge. The position at Exeter was a golden opportunity to join a highly successful institution which will benefit from strong and innovative HR support as it continues to develop and grow.”
