National recognition for legal team

The awards were launched for the first time this year to celebrate excellence in law and recognise some of the great contributions to the legal sector. The ‘In-house Team of the Year’ category was specifically created to recognise a team who have delivered an exceptional level of legal support to their business.

The Legal Team were shortlisted alongside three other global and national companies and demonstrated to the judges that the service they offer to the University is amongst the very best in the country.

Claire Turner, Director of Legal and Insurance Services said: “We are delighted to be recognised as the ‘In-House Team of the Year’. We are a small team and are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the University. What makes the Exeter team unique is that we not only provide legal and contracts advice but also support the University with the insurance and business continuity requirements of such a large and diverse institution.  I am really proud of the whole team for their individual efforts and the first-class service that they provide on a daily basis.”
