Professional Services staff recognised at annual awards ceremony
The Professional Services Recognition Awards entered its fourth year, with a ceremony in Holland Hall on Friday 11 July.
Hosted by Simon Wright and Anna Russell, 190 guests gathered to find out who had won in each of the seven awards categories. Both the Vice-Chancellor and the Acting Chief Operating Officer also conveyed their thanks and good wishes to all PS staff for their hard work over the past year.
Speaking at the end of the evening Geoff Pringle said: “I was delighted to see the variety of projects that PS staff undertake across the University that contribute towards making this such a fantastic place to work and study. All the winners thoroughly deserved their award and I congratulate them, but I am also immensely proud of the whole PS team who all play their part in the overall success of the institution.”
The full cost of the event was covered by the generosity of five external sponsors, who are Picturehouse Apartments, Tribal, MidlandHR, Broadstock, Bidvest 3663
