Last week to nominate Professional Service staff
This is the last week of nominations for this year’s Professional Services Recognition Awards.
All staff and students are encouraged to nominate individuals or teams within Professional Services.
This year nominations are particularly welcome that celebrate partnership and collaboration and directly contribute to a positive working environment. The David Allen Hero/Heroine of the Year Award will be determined by popular vote from mid-June, open to all staff and students, from a short list of nominated individuals.
Nominations are open until Friday 16 May in six categories:
- Outstanding Team Improvement of the Year
- Outstanding Customer Service
- Outstanding Contribution to the Community/Environment
- Outstanding Partnership Working
- Outstanding Project of the Year
- The David Allen Hero/Heroine of the Year (People's choice award)

Geoff Pringle, Acting Chief Operating Officer, says: “The Professional Services Recognition Awards are a fantastic opportunity for us to recognise the outstanding achievements of all our Professional Services staff who are central to the University’s success. This is the fourth year of running these awards, and each year we hear amazing stories that show the commitment, professionalism and excellent customer service that typify the Professional Services. The judging panels can’t wait to see this year’s nominations.”
The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 11 July.
