Professional Services Recognition Awards
Celebrating our Professional Service achievements
Thursday 22 June is the biggest night of the year for the University’s Professional Services. The winners of the Professional Services Recognition Awards will be announced at a special ceremony that celebrates the outstanding achievements of our PS colleagues.
This is the fifth year of the awards. We have six new award categories to reflect our values, plus two old favourites are returning. A public vote for this year’s Hero/Heroine of the year saw a fantastic 794 staff and students casting their votes to determine the winner.

This year we received more than 420 nominations from members of the University community (including all staff and students) for a person or team who made positive contributions to the in the 2016-17 academic year. All University of Exeter Professional Services staff were able to be nominated. We also welcomed nominations for colleagues working at Falmouth Exeter Plus (FX Plus), the service delivery partner of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall. Panels met to shortlist finalists – see the shortlist webpage for more information about the process and more details on the finalists.
The PSRA awards complement other methods of reward and recognition, in particular our Above and Beyond Scheme for all staff.
