The Business School’s MSc Financial Analysis and Fund Management climbed 22 places to claim 77th place globally in a ranking of 179 programmes.

University of Exeter Business School makes progress in QS rankings

The University of Exeter Business School has enhanced the reputation of its Masters programmes with a strong showing in the 2022 QS Masters in Management, Masters in Finance and Global MBA rankings. 

The prestigious rankings analysed the performance of over 600 Business School Masters programmes world-wide as well as 286 MBA programmes from 45 countries.

The Business School’s MSc Financial Analysis and Fund Management climbed 22 places to claim 77th place globally in a ranking of 179 programmes.

The programme scored highly for the diversity of its students and staff – ranking 33rd and in the top 18% of schools worldwide.

It also performed well in the categories of ‘alumni outcomes’ and ‘value for money’. 

Other programmes saw steady year-on-year improvement, with the Exeter MBA performing in the top 53% of 286 programmes worldwide and with the diversity of the programme’s students and staff ranking 12th best in Europe and 23rd globally.

The QS Masters in Management ranking meanwhile ranked the Business School’s MSc Management programme in the top 65% of 155 programmes in a slight improvement on last year.  

Professor Alexandra Gerbasi, Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor and Deputy Dean of the University of Exeter Business School, paid tribute to the hard work of staff and students during a time of unprecedented global upheaval.

She said: ”I would like to pay tribute to our teaching staff, whose determination and creativity over the past 18 months has ensured our Masters courses rank among the world’s best.

“And I must also thank our students, who have kept going with admirable courage and optimism during what has been an unprecedented period.”
