The Exeter MBA achieved 'Tier One' status and the Senior Leadership Degree Apprenticeship MBA programme was the third-highest UK-based programme

The Exeter MBA ranked among best in Europe

The University of Exeter Business School’s flagship MBA has been named among the top MBA programmes in Europe in CEO Magazine’s 2022 Global Executive MBA rankings.

CEO Magazine awarded The Exeter MBA ‘Tier One’ status for the sixth consecutive year, using an aggregate of data from the past three years.

The ‘Tier One’ status confirms The Exeter MBA’s standing as one of the top MBA programmes in Europe, and there was also success for the Senior Leadership Degree Apprenticeship MBA programme, which was the third-highest UK-based programme and 73rd overall in the Global Executive MBA ranking.

Professor Alexandra Gerbasi, Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Exeter Business School said: “To rank among the world’s leading programmes shows that The Exeter MBA and Senior Leadership Degree Apprenticeship MBA provide students with the best possible pathway to a successful business career.

“The secret to the success of our MBA programmes lies in having some of the world’s best business educators among our staff. It is their dedication to instilling in students our core values of ‘leadership for a better world’ that allows our reputation among MBA programmes to grow.”

The magazine ranks programmes as Tier One or Tier Two based on their overall score across a number of factors including quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, gender parity, accreditation, faculty-to-student ratio, price, work experience, professional development and delivery methods.

CEO Magazine launched its annual Global MBA Rankings in 2012, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programmes.

This year, the ranking included programmes in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, ranking data from 180 schools, offering 347 different programmes in 27 countries.

The CEO Magazine ranking comes after recent strong showings in other influential rankings, including the FT European Business Schools, FT Masters in Management and MBA rankings.
