MSc Marketing was a top performer, and excelled in the class and faculty diversity category

‘World leading’ Marketing programme leads the way in QS Business Masters rankings

The publication today of the QS Global MBA, MBA by Specialization & Business Masters 2023 Rankings saw the University of Exeter Business School make firm progress with a strong performance in all categories.

MSc Marketing scored a notable success, with the Business School’s programme named 42nd best in the world.

It was the first time the CIM-accredited programme had been submitted for the prestigious rankings, in which scores are based on a combination of global employer and academic surveys along with measures of value for money, return on investment, thought leadership and the diversity of students and faculty.

The MSc Marketing, in which students gain an in-depth understanding of consumer behaviour, services, psychology and branding at an individual and societal level, was a top performer for class and faculty diversity, ranking 17th globally.

In the 2023 Masters of Finance category, Exeter’s MSc Financial Analysis and Fund Management (FAFM) climbed to number 74, among the top 38% of programmes globally and an improvement on last year’s showing.

The Exeter MBA ranked 151-200 in the Global MBA category out of more than 300 programmes, with a Europe rank of 51-60, while the MSc Management was 111-120.

Professor Alexandra Gerbasi, Dean of the University of Exeter Business School, said: “We’re so proud of the performance of all our world-leading Masters courses in these QS rankings and particularly pleased to have had our efforts to increase class and faculty diversity recognised. Congratulations to all our staff whose hard work made these results possible.”
