Alumni catch up with old friends and colleagues
Alumni attend fourth annual Arts and Media Network Reception
The University welcomed more than fifty alumni and guests to the Arts and Media Network Reception at the Red Brick Road in Soho on Wednesday, 24 November.
The evening was hosted by alumnus Paul Hammersley (Economic and Political Development 1984), Managing Partner at the Red Brick Road, who gave a short talk on The Truth Delusion: 25 Years of Trying to be Right, including a few clips from some well-known and loved advertising campaigns. The Red Brick Road is one of the top twenty advertising agencies in the country. Previous receptions have been held at ITV, Chelsea Football Club and Ofcom.
The evening provided a chance for alumni to catch up with old friends and colleagues, and make new business and personal contacts in media production, advertising, PR and arts sectors. We’re very pleased that many of these alumni are already active volunteers for the University, and that others have expressed interest in getting involved in support the University and our students.
All alumni are welcome to attend this and other networking events. We send invitations specifically to alumni who we think may be interested, based on the subject they studied or the work they currently do. If you are not on our mailing list for these events but would like to be in future, simply contact us at alumni@exeter.ac.uk.
