Athens Alumni Reception
On Monday 11 April the University of Exeter hosted a reception for alumni at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens. This is the second reception held in Greece following a successful reception in 2010.
Ninety-nine alumni and guests enjoyed the Stathatos Mansion at the famous Athenian museum. The reception was hosted by Professor Mark Overton, Deputy Vice Chancellor, and attended by Ms Susie Hills (Director of Development and Alumni Relations), Mr Chris Hibbs (Development Manager) and Ms Rachael Stokes (International Alumni Officer).
The reception provided a fantastic opportunity for our three Greece Country Contacts to launch the Greek Alumni Group and Committee. The Country Contacts are George Pakos (MSc International Management 2004), Loukas Sarakinos (MSc international Management 2004) and Simon Sarkissian (MSc Financial Economics 2003). The group spoke passionately about further events in Greece including a Summer Cocktail Reception on Friday 3 June (more details to be released shortly).
If you would like to find out more about alumni activities in Greece, please contact Rachael Stokes (r.stokes@exeter.ac.uk) or please join our Greece Facebook group
