Close-run scoreline in alumni basketball match
Alumni and current students took to the basketball court to battle it out in a tightly fought contest.
The event was part of the annual All Stars Day organised by this year’s Basketball Captain Henry Conrad. Various events took place during the day, including 3pt Shootout, dunk contest, 1- on-1 and dribbling freestyle.
Highlight of the event were the two full-court games played at the end of the day. In the first, the freshers were narrowly beaten by their second year counterparts.
The alumni team was pitted against the 3rd year/post-graduate players. In an extremely close contest the alumni team suffered their first defeat as a team by the narrowest of margins, with the final score 58-60.
