Targets in sight as campaign goes from strength to strength
Thanks to the generous support of our alumni and friends, the University is in line to meet its campaign targets a year early.
The Creating a world-class University together campaign has already more than doubled its target of seeing 2,012 hours volunteered by alumni and honorary graduates, for the benefit of the University.
Alumni have taken part in a range of activities particularly in the area of student careers, with both group events and individual sessions.
More than £22 million has been donated in gifts, which are supporting world-class research, top scholars and two of the exciting development projects on campus, the Forum Project and new Business School building.
Now the University is embarking on a short, final push to try to meet the campaign targets.
Susie Hills, Director of Development & Alumni Relations said: “We would like to thank everyone who has given so generously to the University both through donations and time. It makes a big difference to our students."
“We know there are some people who are still thinking about what they would like to give and it would be wonderful if they are able to confirm their support in the next few weeks.”
