Festive fun for recent alumni
Recent alumni were getting in to the festive spirit last week when Exetra, the networking group for recent alumni, brought the Ram bar quiz back to London for the second year running.
On 1 December, 19 teams gathered in Hays Horniman’s London Bridge to put their brains to the test in order to win an array of prizes including
cash pots, Exeter memorabilia and more.
The Exetra committee welcomed over 75 recent alumni to the special pub quiz where participants were put to the test on their knowledge of London, reminiscing over GCSE questions and a bit of festive cheer was included with a merry music round of Christmas number ones and top 20 toys at Christmas.
The winning team, Three Strikes and you’re out, took home the £100 cash prize. The team were made up of alumni Rich Jones (2010), Daniel Tull (2008) Phil Rose (2008), Ann Gammon (2008) and Pip Sprake (2008).
The evening gave alumni a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones whilst showing off their general and festive themed knowledge.
