Alumni events in the USA
Events in both Boston and Tempa, Florida USA took place last month and provided a great opportunity for our alumni to catch-up and find out what is happening back on campus.
On Wednesday 8 February a group of alumni met at the Elephant and Castle in Boston to reminisce of their time at Exeter. This is the first alumni event the University of Exeter has held in Boston. The event was attended by Amy Boylan (Employability Officer for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences) and Emma Royle (Alumni Officer for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences).
A group of alumni and their guests also gathered at Jackson’s Bistro Bar and Sushi in Tampa on Saturday 25 February. The event was joined by Dr John Withrington (Head of the International Office at the University of Exeter), Amy Boylan (Employability Officer for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences) and Emma Royle (Alumni Officer for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences). Alumni were updated on current developments on the Streatham Campus and further information about international alumni activity. Thank you to our Country Contact, Domenic Caprani (BA French and Italian, 1996), for assisting with organising the event and acting as the main alumni contact in Florida.
We hope to organise more events in both locations soon, and thank you to all of those alumni who attended.
