Keeping in touch
We’re very fortunate at Exeter to have such enthusiastic and supportive alumni. Over recent years many of you have become more involved with your University – supporting us through your time and gifts, attending events and connecting with fellow alumni and students.
We’re conscious this means we’re getting in touch with you more often. To make sure we don’t fill your email inboxes or clog-up your phones, we’re trialling some new ways to keep in touch.
This enewsletter will be a key source of information for you. Every two months it will include news about fellow alumni, your events and information from your particular College, such as Postgraduate opportunities. It’s written in such a way that it gives you ‘bite-sized’ news with the opportunity to click-through to the full story.
If there’s an event we think you’ll be interested in, we’ll also send details to you on a Thursday by email. In the same email we’ll also let you know about any other alumni events going on, to cut down the number of emails you might receive.
Why not join our social media sites to find out more? Your fellow alumni are on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook and we post relevant news and information there. We also continually update our bespoke alumni news section on our website.
In the autumn you’ll be receiving your annual alumni magazine Exeter, which is packed with articles which we hope will enthuse and inspire you.
We’d love to hear your views on our communications, and in the next enews we’ll be asking you a few questions about how things are going. In the meantime if you want to keep in touch please email us at alumni@exeter.ac.uk or get in touch through Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook.
