Alumnus has new work published

Stealth Warship Technology, published in Reeds Marine Engineering and Technology series last year, gives an insight into stealth warship technology - crucial for future developments in warship construction.

Chris’ latest publication Reeds: Advanced Electrotechnology for Marine Engineers was published this month and looks at complex topics and electromagnetic systems. It considers transformational changes in naval architecture to incorporate modern stealth technologies.

He has also self-published two titles: Recent Developments in Remote Sensing for human disaster management and mitigation- natural and man-made, which has been distributed to members of Parliament and key humanitarian organizations and serialised in Directions Magazine. Recent Developments in Remote Sensing provides an overview of the varied applications of high resolution satellite imagery used in complex humanitarian crises and environmental pollution incidents.

The next book in the pipeline will look at the lives of key Christians active in public life today. He is also working on a series of ‘high-tech’ thrillers, which will have conspiracy strands running together over several decades.

Chris who is married, with five children and also grandchildren, has had 200 articles on technical subjects published, is a former columnist for magazine Electronics and Beyond, and has hosted over 20 science-art exhibitions. He has also appeared on Radio 4’s Material World programme.
