Details so far:
Date: Monday 10 June
Time: 18:00 – 20:30
Venue: The Adam Room, Lloyd’s, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA
University of Exeter Host: Professor Mark Goodwin, Dean of College of Life and Environmental Sciences
Venue host – Dr Richard Ward, CEO of Lloyd’s (Chemistry 1979, PhD 1983, Hon LLD 2009) and Chair of Alumni Network Group
Dr Ward has kindly allowed us to use the magnificent Adam Room at Lloyd's, London. This room was originally designed by Robert Adam in 1763 as part of Bowood House in Wiltshire. The whole room was purchased by Lloyd's and now provides a striking contrast with the post-modern architecture of the Lloyd's building.
