Alumni blogger publishes travel book

Jon Alvis (Spanish and Russian 2008) has published TheNomadStudent’s Travels – Russia and Argentina which follows his travels through these and surrounding countries as part of a study abroad year. TheNomadStudent’s Travels is a collection of posts from Jon’s travel-blog, providing the story of his travels from the Russian VISA process to doing the tango in Argentina. It also includes travel advice through diary-style chapters. Jon has tips for extended travel abroad, especially relevant for students who are thinking of taking up this study option at Exeter.

TheNomadStudent’s Travels is the first book Jon has published. He is currently working on his next two books.
