Christopher Ryan (MBA 2011)
Making a splash
An Exeter alumnus has set up a non-profit social enterprise to help make clean drinking water accessible to all.
Christopher Ryan (MBA 2011) has started Every Single Drop, a social enterprise that aims to work with oil and gas companies in East Timor, in South East Asia, to supply clean drinking water to villages.
The social entrepreneur hopes that the education Every Single Drop provides will result in better water management in Timor. With the support of Oxfam Every Single Drop will be implementing a pilot program in Oecussi-Ambeno province over the next few months.
Christopher said, "Water is my passion and the world is in big trouble. It's not right that children living 45 minutes from Australia are dying from water-borne diseases. At my graduation ceremony the Chancellor told me to go out and change the world. I am hoping that my work with Every Single Drop will help me achieve this."
