Honours lists are published in the New Year and on the Queen's official birthday in June.
New Year Honours for alumni and Honorary Graduates
Alumni and Honorary Graduates have featured strongly in this year’s UK New Year Honours list.
Recipients are recognised for their services within a particular area, which can include a profession or voluntary service.
The recipients will receive their award in person from a senior member of the Royal Family at an investiture later in the year.
“We would like to offer our own congratulations to all our alumni and Honorary Graduates who have been named in the New Year Honours list,” said Professor Sir Steve Smith, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive.
“The awards reflect incredible dedication, enthusiasm and sheer hard work and we are delighted to see recipients with an Exeter connection appearing in the lists year after year.”
