Honours lists are published in the New Year and on the Queen's official birthday in June.
Recognition in Queen’s Birthday Honours 2014 list
Several alumni and an Honorary Graduate were included in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Recipients are recognised for their services within a particular area, which can include a profession or voluntary service.
The recipients will receive their award in person from a senior member of the Royal Family at an investiture later in the year.
“Every time the Honours List is published it features a number of Exeter alumni, Honorary Graduates and supporters,” said David Watson, Head of Supporter Engagement.
“We would like to offer all of them our congratulations. The awards recognise dedication, energy and a great deal of hard work in their chosen field.”
