Congratulations to Exeter alumni recognised in 2016 New Year Honours
Congratulations to all Exeter alumni who were presented with an award in the New Year honours list 2016.
Every year the list acknowledges the achievements of extraordinary people across the United Kingdom within their profession or voluntary service. The 2016 list includes Exeter alumni working in diverse areas - from education to health to the arts.
Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University Professor Sir Steve Smith said “It really is testament to the impact that Exeter has that so many of our alumni, supporters, and Honorary Graduates are on the Honours lists year after year.
The Honours list recognises their outstanding achievements and passion for the work they do, and I would like to offer all the recipients a heartfelt congratulations and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
The recipients will receive their award in person from a senior member of the Royal Family at an investiture later in the year.
