Members of SETsquared Exeter will be presenting at the SETsquared Medical Showcase in March.

Exeter companies to present at medical showcase

On 2 March, Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), supported by West of England, Kent, Surrey, Sussex Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs), and South West AHSN will host their annual investment showcase in Central London.

The event will be supported by SETsquared, the number one University Business Incubator, alongside health consultants, Medcity.

A number of SETsquared Exeter’s clients and associates have successfully applied to exhibit at the event including Joel Stobart of Custodian Solutions, Prof John Terry, Professor of Biomedical Modelling at the University of Exeter and Start-up Weekend Exeter winners, 10K Teeth.

The showcase will provide exposure to around 1500 investors looking to invest in companies from early stage start-ups to mature organisations and the opportunity to meet more than 100 on the day of the event. They will be looking for products and services, with an application in the NHS and with an appeal to wider commercial markets that will make them a financial return. 

Figures show that the total raised by companies who have participated in the SETsquared event over the previous twelve years exceeds more than £100m.
