Luminous, a research and development company based at Exeter Science Park has been shortlisted in three categories for the Exeter Living Awards.

SETsquared Exeter member shortlisted in three categories for coveted award

Luminous, a research and development company, which provides product design, testing and manufacturing services for event productions of all sizes has been shortlisted for an Exeter Living Award in three separate categories including: Creative, New Business and Technology and innovation.

The company are SETsquared Exeter members, based at the Science Park Centre, where they are currently developing a product range for large scale events and ceremonies, including a flame thrower and pyrotechnic equipment.

The team will attend a lavish award ceremony on 7 March at the University of Exeter’s Great Hall where the winners will be announced, amid a guest list of 400 businesspeople.

Speaking of the shortlisting, Director, Mike Badley said: “We are really excited about being shortlisted for three awards at the Exeter Living Awards 2019. We are up against some really great companies in all three categories and know just how hard they have all been working over the last year to be able to be shortlisted."

Mike continued: "Luminous has great plans for the coming year with having already shipped products to China, North America and Australia this year alone. Throughout 2019 and beyond we will continue to feed our business back into the region by using the pool of incredible local companies that support our operation.”
