Exeter ranked amongst top 50 most international universities
The University of Exeter has been recognised as one of the most international universities in the world.
The University ranked 48th in the latest Times Higher Education league table of the global 200 most international universities, published today (March 14 2018).
The 2018 Most International Universities list, complied by the THE, considers each institution’s percentage of international staff, its international student numbers, international reputation and the proportion of its research papers published with a co-author from at least one other country.
Jacqui Marshall, Deputy Registrar & Director of People Services and Global Partnerships said: “We are delighted to be named in the top 50 most international universities in these latest rankings. It is a testament to the outstanding, innovative research and teaching carried out by our staff both at Exeter, and in collaboration with colleagues across the world. Exeter is committed to providing the very best experience to attract the most talented students from both home and abroad, which is reflected in this THE ranking.”
Phil Baty, Editor of the THE World Rankings, said: “The best universities live or die by their ability to attract the brightest talent from all across the world - students, academics, researchers and managers.
“I believe that a university simply cannot be world class without a global outlook, a global network and a global pool of talent."
