First Dickinson Gleeson Trusts Prize Awarded
The University of Exeter Law School, Cornwall is pleased to announce the winner of the Dickinson Gleeson Trusts Prize 2022 as Daniel Sipos.
The Dickinson Gleeson Trusts Prize is a newly established award from the University of Exeter Law School, at its Penryn Campus in Cornwall. The award recognises the third-year student or students with the highest academic achievement in their Trusts module, with the successful student receiving £100.
The prize’s sponsors Dickinson Gleeson are a leading, award-winning law firm, based in the Channel Islands, specializing in trusts and related litigation.
Melissa Sheehan, Executive Assistant for and on behalf of Dickinson Gleeson said, “Dickinson Gleeson are delighted to join in association with the University of Exeter as sponsors of the newly founded Dickinson Gleeson Trusts Prize, a subject close to our hearts. We look forward to forging a strong relationship with the University and would like to congratulate Daniel Sipos, the very first recipient of the award.”
Daniel Sipos completed his studies at the Exeter Law School, Cornwall in the summer and received the prize at his graduation ceremony in July.
Nick Pointon, Senior Lecturer of Law at Penryn Campus said, “Daniel Sipos consistently wowed with his performance in Equity & Trusts, securing high first-class marks in all assessments. (Daniel has) An impressively mature understanding of an especially difficult subject!”
Daniel Sipos said, “I am thrilled to have been awarded the Dickinson Gleeson Trust Prize for 2022 and would like to thank Dickinson Gleeson for the award. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Law School, particularly Nick Pointon for all the support and excellent teaching throughout the Equity and Trusts module.”
Daniel has since gone onto work as a Company Secretarial Assistant at CFC Underwriting in London, a market leader in emerging risk and cyber insurance.
