Exeter reinforces position in The Complete University Guide
The University of Exeter has maintained its position amongst the very best in the UK in the Complete University Guide 2022.
The University has preserved its 12th place nationally, and second in the South West region, in the latest ranking, released today (June 8th 2021).
Both science and humanities subjects have been recognised as being amongst the best in the country, with 34 in the top 20 - of which 13 subjects are top 10. Three subjects appeared in the top 5 - Anthropology, History of Art, Architecture & Design, and Materials Technology.
Professor Lisa Roberts, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter said: “It is pleasing to see that Exeter has retained its position both regionally and nationally in this year's Complete University Guide. It is also encouraging to see so many subjects across the sciences and humanities perform so well, with more than 30 in the top 20. It reflects Exeter's position as a strong, encouraging and rewarding environment where students and staff alike are nurtured and stimulated to flourish and thrive."
The Complete University Guide ranking is based on 10 measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects – outcomes, Graduate Prospects – on track, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, and Completion. 130 Universities are included in this years rankings.
