James Gould

Exeter PhD researcher invited to Princeton

James Gould, a PhD researcher in the School of Law, was invited to Princeton, USA.

James was invited to an intensive seminar series. This was organised by the editors of the American Journal of Jurisprudence. James, who has served as an associate lecturer, has taught jurisprudence, among other subjects, for many years.

Here he presented aspects of his PhD research, which is entitled: ‘Equality Act 2010: Law, Reason and Morality in the Jurisprudence of Robert P. George’. The week-long event was attended by senior academics, leading members of the judiciary and students from around the world.

James has also presented his research, by invitation, at Exeter, Oxford, Cardiff and Mardin Artuklu, Turkey.
