Insurance presentations in New Zealand and Australia

Professor Rob Merkin QC has recently returned from two weeks abroad.

He gave seminars in Auckland for the Insurance Council of New Zealand and on the Insurance Law LLM at Auckland University, and he then gave seminars in Sydney for the Australian Insurance Law Association and for the Insurance Council of Australia as well as attending a meeting with the insurance regulator, ASIC.

There was a launch party in Auckland on 4 March for Rob's book Colinvaux's Law of Insurance in New Zealand, and a further launch party in Sydney on 11 March for his text, co-authored with Ian Enright, Sutton's Law of Insurance in Australia - the keynote speaker at the Sutton launch was Hon Michael Kirby, a retired judge of Australia's High Court.
