Law School welcomes prominent international visitors this summer

We have had a number of visitors in the Law School during July. 

Professor Wang Canfa visited us from the Chinese University of Politics and Law in Beijing, China. He founded the Centre for Legal Assistance to Pollution Victims. Professor Wang was recognised in Time Magazines list "Heroes of the Environment" and also won a Magsaysay award this month - see the news story for full details. Wanf Canfa follows on from a visit by a PhD student of his from CUPL, Wang Wanlin.

As well as Professor Wang Canfa, Assistant Professor Dr. Armagan Bozkurt-Yuksel, from Izmir Turkey Dokuz Eylul University, visited the University of Exeter throughout July. Her main research areas are Commercial Law, Arbitration Law, Intellectual Property Law and Internet Law. Dr Bozkurt-Yuksel made full use of her time at the University, carrying out substantial research in the library.

We also had Carmen Maria Fajardo Martinez who was with us from the 24th July to the 2nd August. She studied the rights of people with disabilities, and diversity in higher education. Carmen Maria is from the University Castilla da Mancha in Spain.
