Professor Mike Schmitt addresses Ambassadors of NATO countries
Professor Schmitt spoke on the subject of international law governing cyber operations
The lecture, which took place at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, was attended by a group of Ambassadors accredited to Estonia, including Her Majesty’s Ambassador, Chris Holtby, an Exeter University graduate, as well as ambassadors from the United States, France, Germany, Poland, and other NATO nations.
In his presentation, Professor Schmitt explained the work being done in the Tallinn 2.0 project, which is designed to identify the law governing cyber activities that do not amount to an armed conflict.
