India’s Additional Solicitor General met University of Exeter’s legal experts during a visit to discover more about their work.
Shri Prabhuling. K. Navadgi toured the University of Exeter Law School and spoke to staff about their teaching and research. He also delivered a lecture for students.
The Additional Solicitor General is the third ranking lawyer for the Government of India.
Mr Navadgi set up his own legal practice before he was appointed as the Additional Advocate General for the State of Karnataka in 2011. He is a pioneer in infrastructure law and has dealt with cases relating to the Indian constitution, international taxation, prevention of money laundering and cyber laws. He has also advised several nationalized banks.
