Exeter academics co-author four of BJGP’s top ten most read articles
Four of the British Journal for General Practice (BJGP)’s top ten papers of 2017 were co-authored by University of Exeter Medical School academics.
The ranking is based on the number of times each paper was downloaded from the prestigious journal.
Clinical relevance of thrombocytosis in primary care: a prospective cohort study of cancer incidence using English electronic medical records and cancer registry data was written by Dr Sarah Bailey, Associate Professor Obioha Ukoumunne, Dr Elizabeth Shephard and Professor Willie Hamilton, was top of the list.
