Medical Imaging top 5 in all rankings
Medical Imaging rise to 4th place in Guardian rankings
The University of Exeter’s Medical Imaging programme has leapt 11 places to secure 4th spot in the Guardian University Guide 2020.
It comes as the Medicine programme rises four places to number 14, and the University secures 10th spot overall.
The success of Medical Imaging means it is in the top five in all the major rankings, having secured third place in the Complete University Guide and 2nd in the Times and Sunday times Good University Guide. Meanwhile, Medicine came in at number 10 in the Complete University Guide.
Professor Clive Ballard, Executive Dean and Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter Medical School, said: “I’m delighted with this excellent result, and I’d like to thank all our outstanding teaching and professional services staff for the outstanding education and student experience they provide. We strive to provide the best education to prepare our graduates to innovate in healthcare, and these rankings recognise our expertise and our dedication to putting students first.”
The Guardian guide ranks according to a number of factors, including student satisfaction on courses and teaching and the proportion of graduates in employment or further study after six months. It also includes a “value added” score, which compares degree results with entry qualifications.
