5th Annual Meeting of South West Health Economists - May 2015

‌Health Economists from University of Exeter, University of Bristol and University of the West of England (UWE) gathered at St Luke’s Campus in Exeter for a day of presentations and panel sessions on 12^th May 2015.‌

The meetings provide an opportunity for presenting research, networking  across the groups and they aim to foster synergies between ‌research and potential collaboration.‌

The meeting was a great success, and topics included in this years meeting were:

• health state utility values for Huntington’s Disease across Europe,
• an update of recent research that aims to standardise resource-use measures
• a review of ongoing wellbeing work at Exeter
• research in Bristol on identifying and prioritising opportunities for disinvestment in health care
• discussion on social prescribing in the Bristol area.
