MRC Skills Development panel meeting - Jan 2016

‌Anne Spencer attended the MRC Skills Development Fellowships panel in London. The Fellowships are open to quantitative or social science researchers who would like to undertaken additional research and training to tackle the challenges posed by applied health service research. The aims of the Fellowships are to support very early career researchers to consolidate their skills in a priority area in which they are already active or in which they are seeking training. The Fellowships can also be used to  support researchers at all career stages who wish to change disciplines to a priority area. Applicants should normally hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or expect to do so by the time they take up the award. Applications for the Fellowships are encouraged from Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Operational Research as well as from Mathematics, Physics and Bio-sciences, etc. More details can be found on the MRC website or by contacting the MRC office. ‌
