Great success at the Viva Film Festival in Manchester

The films have been subtitled by MA in TS students and supervised by Eliana Maestri and Sally Faulkner. 

Three Spanish films directed by Cecilia Bartolome’ were shown at the Viva film festival in Manchester last weekend (24-26 March) as part of the Leading Women project led by Sally Faulkner. The films have been subtitled by MA in TS students and supervised by Eliana Maestri and Sally Faulkner. Sally and Eliana and the Leading Women project discussed the films and subtitles at the roundtable after the showing of the films. The subtitles were very well received. The audience was enthusiastic. It was a big success. More than 200 tickets were sold for the UK premier of these films!
