We Still Have a Chance: City gears up for three climate-inspired exhibitions

Three exhibitions, inspired by the We Still Have a Chance climate stories and part of the ’12 Stories for 12 Days of COP27’ project led by Dr Eliana Maestri, are opening at venues across the city.

The first of three exhibitions is being staged at MakeTank on Paris Street, until 3 February, is a collection of artworks produced by students at various Exeter schools, each working with a different Daisi artist.

A second exhibition – in the form of a series of vibrant prints as visual translations of We Still Have a Chance, produced at Double Elephant – will also open this month, running until April at the Exeter Phoenix café gallery.

And the third event (1 February to 2 April) will be a photographic showcase at the Devon & Exeter Institution, on Cathedral Close, exhibiting work from school students, produced with the help of artists at Daisi, from Double Elephant, and from local graffiti artist Steve McCracken. The graffiti artwork created by Steve is displayed at the Exeter Library.

The artworks and exhibitions are part of ’12 Stories for 12 Days of COP27’, a project led by Dr Eliana Maestri and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
