New teaching material to instruct undergraduates in the economics of animal health

In October 2014, at the second annual conference of the NEAT project held in Wageningen University, The Netherlands, Keith Howe presented new teaching material designed for instructing undergraduate students in veterinary sciences in the economics of animal health.

The 3-year project (2012-15) ‘Networking to enhance the use of economics in animal health education, research and policy making in Europe and beyond’, is led by the Royal Veterinary College, London University, and co-funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union.  

Constructed in Powerpoint, ‘The Benefits of Veterinary Activity and the Value of Animals‘ is one of five such presentations to be made freely available for general use in fulfilment of project objectives. For further details access www.neat-network.eu/
