Dr Nils-Christian Bormann joins Editorial Board of International Interactions.
Dr Nils-Christian Bormann, Lecturer in Politics, is to join the Editorial Board of the peer reviewed journal International Interactions for a two-year period starting January 2019. The journal is a leading interdisciplinary journal that publishes original empirical, analytic, and theoretical studies of conflict and political economy.
Dr Bormann said of the appointment: “I am honored to join the distinguished scholars on the editorial board of International Interactions and hope to make a small contribution to further the journal's quality and visibility in the next two years.”
Dr Bormann’s research interests comprise ethnic coalitions and power-sharing, civil wars, democratization, and spatial methods. His work has been published or is forthcoming in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the European Journal of Political Research, and International Studies Quarterly among others. His most recent grant from the AHRC explored the effect of local economic conditions on violence against civilians during civil war in Northern Uganda.
