Guild Teaching Awards 2019
The College performed extremely well in the Guild Teaching Awards 2019.
These awards are a celebration of excellent and inspiring teaching, research and student support provided by academics and support staff. Nominations come directly from students. This year, which was the 10th anniversary of the Teaching Awards, College staff were recognised across the College for their exceptional work.
There were 115 individual College staff nominated for awards. At the award ceremony itself, which took place on Tuesday 30 April, College colleagues won awards in four categories:
- Best Feedback Provider – PGCE (Secondary)
- Best Supervisor – Angela Cassidy (Politics)
- Best Research Community – Law
- Best Teacher / Academic – Sarah Lucas (Politics)
Congratulations to all of the winners and also to James Griffin (Law) who was shortlisted in the Most Supportive Member of Staff category and also Dinah Warren (Education), shortlisted for Best Employability Support.
