Alumni Volunteer Awards 2018
Shortlist announced for inaugural Alumni Volunteer of the Year awards
Nominations for Exeter’s very first Alumni Volunteer of the Year awards have closed and the shortlist has now been announced.
The team received 66 nominations and 11 individuals have been shortlisted across the two categories. The judging panel, made up of students, staff and alumni, will now whittle these down to two exceptional winners, who will be announced in April.
Emma McFadyen, Head of Alumni Relations and Volunteering at the University of Exeter said: “We’re delighted that so many people took the time to nominate their ‘Alumni Volunteer of the Year’. We had an incredibly wide range of nominations and it was wonderful to read the different ways that alumni volunteers have impacted so many individuals. It was hard to narrow down a shortlist but we’ve got some truly exceptional volunteers for our judging panel to select from and I’m looking forward to announcing the winner in early April.”
