Renaming of project that supports business and the environment

A business support project to grow business and the environment has recently been renamed. Tevi, the Cornish for growth is the new name of the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) project, previously known as Environmental Growth for Business (EG4B).

Dr Dan Bloomfield, Project Manager for Tevi explained: "Our tagline: 'Growing your Business, Growing our Environment' provides a succinct explanation of what we are setting out to achieve; we are all about growing business whilst simultaneously growing the environment."

Dr Bloomfield continued: "We’re the only project of our kind that brings together an economic growth agenda with an environmental one, hand in hand.  Setting out to realise the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Environmental Growth Strategy via a business support programme is a unique and challenging objective, one that we felt deserved the best possible branding."  

The Tevi team based at the University of Exeter, Cornwall will continue working with delivery partners: Cornwall Council, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornwall Development Company and SMEs to build the circular economy and grow Cornwall’s environment.
